Alberta Joann Baker, age 78 of Miamisburg, passed away Sunday, March 7, 2010 in Heartland of Centerville. She was born in Knoxville, Tennessee on April 17, 1931 the daughter of Herbert Haskel & Myrtle (Butcher) Wolfenbarger. She retired from General Motors in 1986 after 30 years. She attended Clearcreek Christian Assembly, Springboro.
She is survived by her husband of 51 years Charles Baker, son and daughter-in-law Charles Todd (Aleshia) Baker of Miamisburg, 3 grandchildren Victoria, Jordan, and Joshua Baker, 2 brothers Jack E. Wolfenbarger of Dayton and Herbert "Sonny" Wolfenbarger of Dayton, Aunt Fern Butcher of Knoxville, Tenn., 2 nephews Mike Wolfenbarger of Lewisburg and Greg Wolfenbarger of Springboro and a cousin Gloria Wurst of West Carrollton.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and an Uncle Clay Butcher.
A gathering of family and friends will be held on Thursday, March 11, 2010 from 11:30 am to 12:00 pm in the Clearcreek Christian Assembly of God, 1150 S. Main St. Springboro, Ohio 45066. Funeral services will be held at 12:00 pm in the church with Pastor Bruce Moore officiating. Burial will follow in Butler County Memorial Park, 4570 Trenton-Oxford Rd. Hamilton, Ohio. Services have been entrusted to the BLESSING FUNERAL HOME, Tipp City.
