Arzella May Broyles, age 90 of Vandalia, passed away Monday, August 4, 2025, at Miami Valley Hospital, Dayton. She was born in Monroe, Michigan on October 3, 1934 the daughter of Anderson & Alafair (McDaniel) Owsley. She worked in the bakery at Chmiel's Market in Tipp City for many years and was a member of the Crossroads Church of God in Piqua.

She is survived by her children Vickie Hughes, Sharon Thomas and Johnny Broyles; grandchildren Kristin Broyles, Brandon Broyles, Holly Thomas, Phillip Thomas, Crystal Hughes and Morgan Broyles; 16 great grandchildren; 3 great-great grandchildren; brother David Owsley; sister Eloise Owsley and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband John Adam Broyles in 2007; brothers Kelsie and Bob Owsley and a sister Helen Raines. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, great-great grandmother, sister, aunt and friend and will be missed by all who knew her.

A private burial service will be held at the convenience of the family at the Forest Hills Memorial Gardens, 11890 N. Dixie Dr., Tipp City. Services have been entrusted to the Zerkle Funeral Home, Tipp City. Condolences may be sent to the family through this online guestbook.
