Bennie K. McClellan, age 74 of Tipp City passed away Tuesday, May 18, 2010 in Sycamore Hospital, Miamisburg. He was born in Osceola, Arkansas on April 15, 1936 the son of George Hafford & Eunile (Williams) McClellan. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and a member of the Tipp City Church of Christ. He worked as a custodian for many years in the Winterhaven Schools, Florida.
He is survived by his 3 brothers Dale & Kathryn McClellan of Tipp City, DeArvin & Doris McClellan of Missouri, and Bud & Mildred McClellan of North Carolina, 2 sisters Bobbie Palmer of South Carolina and Clyde Ann Mullian of South Carolina, several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, 2 brothers, and a sister.
A gathering of family and friends will be held on Friday, May 21, 2010 from 10:00 am to 11:00 am in the BLESSING FUNERAL HOME, 11900 N. Dixie Dr. Tipp City. Funeral services will be held on Friday at 11:00 am in the funeral home with Bob Vincent officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Hills Memorial Gardens, Tipp City.
