Betty Sue Oren, age 87 of Dayton, passed away Saturday, April 4, 2026, surrounded by her family. She was born on July 2, 1938, in Crossville, Tennessee, the daughter of Otto Garland & Lola Mae (Croft) Simmons.

She is survived by her son William Garland (Kim) Oren; grandchildren Christopher (Taylor) Oren and Sarah (Robert) Minor; great grandchildren Brooklyn, Jalyn and Harley Minor and Adaline Oren.

She was preceded in death by her husband Howard F. Oren Sr. in 2005 and her son Howard F. Oren Jr. on January 21, 2026.

A gathering of family and friends will be on Friday, April 10, 2026, from 11:00 am – 1:00 pm a the ZERKLE FUNERAL HOME, 11900 N. Dixie Dr., Tipp City. A funeral service will be held on Friday at 1:00 pm at the funeral home. A private burial will be held at Forest Hills Memorial Gardens, Tipp City at the convenience of the family.
