Charles "Rod" Rodney Workman, age 50 of Huber Heights, went to be with Our Lord on Saturday, April 19, 2014 in his residence. He was born in Bangor, Maine on January 8, 1964 the son of Dallas and Sharon (Gibson) Workman. He loved his Lord Jesus Christ, his devoted and loving wife Kim, his family and friends. His life changed the lives of many others. He was loved by all who knew him and a blessing to this world.

He is survived by his parents, wife of 27 years Kimberly (Peyton) Workman, brother Chris (Kristen) Workman, sister-in-law Stacy (Joe) Preston, nephew Daric (Valerie) Workman and nieces Jade Workman and Ava Workman, 14 other nieces and nephews and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother Myree Gibson, paternal grandparents Cuba and Edgar Workman, and his aunt Brenda Chapman.

A gathering of family and friends will be held on Wednesday, April 23, 2014 from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm in the Blessing Funeral Home, 11900 N. Dixie Dr. Tipp City. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday at 12:00 pm in the funeral home with Pastor Kenneth Day officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Hills Memorial Gardens, Tipp City.
