Christine Whiteaker, age 93 of Troy, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, October 8, 2024, at home surrounded by her family. She was born on July 2, 1931 in Whiteoak Junction, Kentucky the daughter of Marion & Ollie (Slaven) King. She volunteered at Children's Hospital for many years.

She is survived by her daughter Sherrie (Tim) Donovan; daughter-in-law Sherry Whitaker; grandchildren Crystal Jeunelot, Kelly Whiteaker, Emma Overman, Logan Jurgens and Sara Collins; great grandchildren Gabriel Jeunelot, Lyndsey Jeunelot, Charlotte Collins, Alex Jergens and Lilly Jergens; great-great grandchildren Maverick and Ellie Jeunelot.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband of 62 years Alvin Harrison Whiteaker in 2013; son Harrison Whiteaker; daughter Linda Jergens; granddaughter Amanda Jergens; brother Haston King; and sister Maxine Brommeland.

A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, October 15, 2024, at 12:00 pm at the Forest Hills Memorial Gardens, 11890 N. Dixie Dr., Tipp City. Services have been entrusted to the Zerkle Funeral Home, Tipp City. Condolences may be sent to the family through this online guestbook.
