Connie (Jacks) Childers, age 59, of Dayton, Ohio, passed away on Wednesday, April 15, 2026. She was born on February 11, 1967, in Dayton, Ohio to the late Robert Sr and Patricia Ann (Human) Jacks. Connie spent her life working various jobs and being a full-time mother to her children who she was devoted to and loved unconditionally.

She is survived by her brother Robert Jacks Jr.; four children Scott (Tiffany) Lairson, Bridgette (Spencer Wasem II) Perkins, Cherokee (Amanda) Galvlo'i, and Autumn Perkins; grandchildren Damon Bartley, Austin Bailey, Spencer Wasem III, Kystal Wasem and Michael Wasem, and several other family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her wonderful boyfriend Andre Francis as well as her grandparents and other family members. Connie will be remembered for her huge unconditional heart, loving all things without prejudice, her humor, dedication, kindness, music that she loved, and strong will power. A gathering of family and friends will be held on Thursday, April 23, 2026, from 11:00 am – 1:00 pm at the ZERKLE FUNERAL HOME, 11900 N. Dixie Dr., Tipp City. A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday at 1:00 pm at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Forest Hills Memorial Gardens, Tipp City.
