David Harris Younger, age 70 of Tipp City, passed away Wednesday, July 31, 2013 in his residence. He was born in Muncie, Indiana on February 4, 1943 the son of Marvin & Gladys (Stone) Younger. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and a member of the Vandalia Christian Tabernacle. He retired in 1996 from General Motors after 35 years of service.

He is survived by his wife of 38 years Linda Leigh (Christian) Younger, daughters Catherine Gould and Tonya Bitticker, son Ted Fisher, grandchildren Ashley Webb, Zachary Bitticker, Courtney Gould, Bradley Gould, a great grandson Noah Freshour, 3 sisters Faye Younger, Joyce Gabbard, and Belinda McLagen and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

A gathering of family and friends will be held on Monday, August 5, 2013 from 5:00 pm - 8:00 pm in the Blessing Funeral Home, 11900 N. Dixie Dr. Tipp City. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, August 6, 2013 at 11:00 am in the funeral home with Pastor Todd Hoskins officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Hills Memorial Gardens, Tipp City.
