Dennis Ralph Yancey, age 61 of Springfield, passed away Sunday, March 17, 2024 at Allen View Helathcare in Springfield. He was born in Cincinnati on September 10, 1962 the son of Ralph & Janice (Cupp) Yancey.

He is survived by his mother Janice Yancey; sons Joshua Yancey and Zachary (Natasha) Schenz; grandchildren Hailey Yancey, Olivia Yancey, Colton Yancey, Raylan Schenz and Kameron Schenz; great grandson Kayson Yancey; sister Kathy (Ron) Borders; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father Ralph; wife Vickie Yancey; and a sister Karen Nooe.

A memorial service will be held on Sunday, March 24, 2024 at 3:00 pm at the Christiansburg Church of Christ in Christian Union, 5020 Panhandle Road, St. Paris, Ohio. The family will receive friends on Sunday from 2:30 pm until the time of the service. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in Dennis' memory to the American Cancer Society, 2808 Reading Road, Cincinnati, Ohio 45206 or to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, Tennessee 38105.
