Dolores "Dorie" Louise Springer, age 79 of Tipp City, passed away Wednesday, December 12, 2018 at Upper Valley Medical Center, Troy. She was born in Minster, Ohio, the daughter of Camillus "Smokey" & Dorothy (Rosenbeck) Droesch. She retired from Kroger's in Troy. She enjoyed traveling, playing cards and spending time with her family and friends.

She is survived by her husband of 60 years, John Springer; children Timothy (Anita) Springer of San Antonio, Texas, Joseph (Rona) Springer of Tipp City, Mark (Bobbie) Springer of Tipp City and Lisa (Mike) Bertke of Troy; 6 grandchildren Nicole (Eli) Gilleland, Christopher Springer, Christina Springer, Jim Springer, Bradley Bertke and Katie Bertke; 3 great grandchildren Audrey, Andrew and Allie Gilleland; a sister Marlene (Bill) Schrage of Waterville, Ohio and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers LeRoy and Ralph Droesch, an infant brother and her sister Mary Ann Hoying.

A gathering of family and friends will be held on Sunday, December 16, 2018 from 4:00 pm – 7:00 pm at the BLESSING-ZERKLE FUNERAL HOME, 11900 N. Dixie Dr., Tipp City. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, December 17, 2018 at 10:30 am at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, 753 S. Hyatt St., Tipp City with Father Marc Sherlock officiating. Burial will follow in St. John Cemetery, Tipp City. Memorial contributions may be made in Dolores' memory to the American Lung Association, 4050 Executive Park Drive #402, Cincinnati, Ohio 45241.
