Donald Lee Patterson, age 73 of Huber Heights, passed away Thursday, May 18, 2017 at Miami Valley Hospital. He was born in Hillsboro, Ohio on December 19, 1943 the son of John W. & Annie Maxine (Poole) Patterson. He was a veteran of the U.S. Marines and loved to go fishing.

He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Sandra (Siewek) Patterson, son Marc Patterson, daughter Kristen (Chris) Workman, granddaughter Jade Workman, grandson Daric Workman, great granddaughter Ava Workman, nieces Lisa Griffin, Nicole Patterson, and Terri Patterson, nephews Jeff Patterson and Greg Patterson, a sister Shirley Hayslip, and a friend of Bill W.

He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers Dale and Bob Patterson and a sister Helen Henson.

A gathering of family and friends will be held on Wednesday, May 24, 2017 from 11:00 am - 1:00 pm at the BLESSING-ZERKLE FUNERAL HOME, 11900 N. Dixie Dr., Tipp City. A Memorial Service will be held Wednesday at 1:00 pm at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Forest Hills Memorial Gardens, Tipp City. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.blessingfh.com.
