Donna S. Phipps, age 94 of Englewood, passed away Thursday, October 15, 2009 in Good Samaritan Hospital, Dayton. She was born in Glen Daniels, West Virginia on May 15, 1915 the daughter of John & Mary (Phipps) Phipps. She was a nurse for many years at Good Samaritan & St. Elizabeth''s Hospitals.
She is survived by her husband of 78 years Lacy Phipps, children Glenna Mae Neff of Florida, David Lee Phipps of Florida, and Darrell Phipps of Tipp City, 6 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, and 2 sisters Ruth of West Virginia, and Othleene of Virginia.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and several brothers and sisters.
A gathering of family and friends will be held on Monday, October 19, 2009 from 10:00 am to 11:00 am in the BLESSING FUNERAL HOME, 11900 N. Dixie Dr. Tipp City. Funeral services will be held on Monday at 11:00 am in the funeral home. Burial will follow in Forest Hills Memorial Gardens, Tipp City
