She left us peacefully and arrived in His arms with an even greater peace, pain free, at last. Dot was born on Feb 16, 1924 in Kenvir, Ky. to Polk and Mary Millsap and met and married P. J. Catching in Harlan County, Ky. in 1940, with whom she bore and raised five children. She was a strong Appalachain woman who loved to cook and bake for family and friends and was happiest when health permitted her to care for her family. 'MOM' was mom to many, loved by all, and will be missed by those whose lives she touched. She left us knowing she was greatly appreciated and even more deeply loved, as we let her go having known her love in return. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, sister Ethel Johnson, brother Earl Millsap, son James (Jim) Catching, and grandaughter Lisa Catching. Survivors include her sister, Thelma Messer, of Navarre, Fl, Anna Catching, Dayton, Ohio, widow of son James, daughters Caroline Hall, and husband Edwin, Norcross, Ga, Mary Albin, Navarre, Fl., Angela Wheeler and husband Mark, McDonough, Ga. and son Dan Catching of Ft.
