Edeltrud Elisabeth Lauderback, age 81 of Long Beach, California and formerly of Vandalia, passed away Wednesday, September 6, 2017 at her residence. She was born on May 21, 1936 in Hutschenhausen, Germany the daughter of Michael & Katarina (Dengel) Stuppy. She was a member of St. Christopher Catholic Church in Vandalia.

She is survived by her husband Edgar Lauderback; sister Josefa Stuppy; son and daughter-in-law Dale (Gloria Guzman) Lauderback; and 4 grandchildren Katarina, Nicholas, Michelle, and Alexander Lauderback.

She was preceded in death by her parents and sons Michael and Eric Lauderback.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, September 16, 2017 at 10:30 am at St. Christopher Catholic Church, 435 East National Road, Vandalia with Father John Tonkin officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Hills Memorial Gardens, Tipp City. A gathering of family and friends will be held from 9:30 to 10:30 am at the church. Services have been entrusted to the Blessing-Zerkle Funeral Home, 11900 N. Dixie Dr., Tipp City. Condolences may be sent to the family through this online guestbook.
