Eileen Mary (Goode) King, formerly Eileen Woolum, age 83 of Union passed away Monday, October 11, 2010 in Brookhaven Nursing Home, Brookville. She was born in Dayton, Ohio on January 28, 1927 the daughter of William A. & Josephine M. (Studer) Goode. She was a member of the First Grace Brethren Church, Vandalia. She liked needlepoint and especially loved to spend time with her children and grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband Paul King, children Karen Woolum of Dayton, Lonnie J. King of Brookville, Cindy (Will) Boggs of Englewood, Gillis (Susan) Woolum of Dayton, William Art (Karen) Woolum of Marysville, Mike (Cheryl) King of Pleasant Hill, and Kevin (Pam) King of Lewisburg, 12 grandchildren Matt, Joshua, Paul, Wyatt, Mark, Crystal, Fawn, Lauren, Joseph, James, Stephanie, and Melanie, 6 great grandchildren, a brother William (Ginge) Goode of Englewood, and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, brother Alan Goode, infant sister and son Robert Woolum.
A gathering of family and friends will be held on Friday, October 15, 2010 from 6-8 pm in the BLESSING FUNERAL HOME, 11900 N. Dixie Dr. Tipp City, Ohio 45371. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, October 16, 2010 at 10:30 am in the funeral home with Pastor Forrest Jackson officiating. Burial will follow in Forrest Hills Memorial Gardens, Tipp City.
