Ernest Dale King, 53, of Tipp City, passed away Friday, April 5, 2013 in his residence. He was born in Hazard, Kentucky on October 7, 1959, the son of Jack D. & Justine (Singleton) King.

He enjoyed his family and friends and working at the Workshop.

He is survived by his parents, Jack D. and Justine King; a sister, Marilyn (Scott) Youngerman; two brothers, Jeffrey and Jack E. King; five nieces; three nephews; three great-nieces; one great-nephew; two aunts; two uncles; and numerous cousins and friends. He loved everyone he knew.

The family would like to thank Fidelity Health Care and Odyssey Hospice for their care and compassion during this difficult time.

A gathering of family and friends will be held from 2 until 4 p.m. on Sunday, April 7, 2013 at Blessing Funeral Home, 11900 N. Dixie Dr. Tipp City. Funeral services will begin at 11 a.m. Monday, April 8, at the funeral home with Pastor Mark Long officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Hills Memorial Gardens, Tipp City.
