Ezzat Mahdavi, age 87 of Centerville, passed away Thursday, June 18, 2026, at home surrounded by her family. She was born in Iran on January 5, 1939, the daughter of Ghffar Mahdavi & Khanon Agha. She was a member of the Elite Club of Education.

She is survived by her husband Mohammad Mazdeh; children Nahid (David) Huff, Fariba (Dr. Amin Haghi) Mazdeh, Roya (Dr. Mike) Linger and Dr. Alireza (Faezeh) Mazdeh; grandchildren Dr. Shereen (Dr. Brandon) Riedlinger, Dr. Ehsaun Huff, Ashley (Dr. Chris Crabtree) Haghi, Allison Haghi, Bobby Linger, Joseph (Faye) Linger, Melika Mazdeh and Armin Mazdeh; great grandchildren Eden Linger and Adison Renee Crabtree; two brothers and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents and two sisters.

An Islamic Prayer Service will be held on Monday, June 22, 2026, at 12:00 pm at ZERKLE FUNERAL HOME, 11900 N. Dixie Dr., Tipp City. Burial will follow in Forest Hills Memorial Gardens, Tipp City. Condolences may be sent to the family through this online guestbook.
