Fannie Ruth Williams was born Jan 13, 1918 in Brookhaven, Mississippi and passed away on July 12, 2011 in Rayville, Louisiana.
She is preceded in by her husband, Porter B. Williams; two sons, Bennie R. Williams and John M. Williams; daughter, Elizabeth McCann; parents, Noah and Bessie Smith; brother, Wyatt Smith; sister, Helen Marie Smith.
Fannie Ruth is survived by her five children, Tommy Gene Williams and wife Barbara of Eustis, Florida, Peggy Bankston and husband Earl of Oak Grove, Louisiana, Rose Mary Smith of Kettering, Ohio, Ruthie Meade and husband Jeff of Kettering, Ohio, Linda Robbins of Kettering, Ohio; brother, N. J. Smith of Ft. Worth, Texas; two sisters, Lillie Lee Rawls of Oak Grove, Louisiana and Bessie Mae King of Owasso, Oklahoma; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
A gathering of family and friends will be held on Thursday, July 21, 2011 from 5-8 pm in the BLESSING FUNERAL HOME, 11900 N. Dixie Dr. Tipp City. Burial will be in Forest Hills Memorial Gardens, Tipp City at the convenience of the family.
