Frances Dean Erisman, age 88 a lifetime resident of Vandalia, passed to heaven on Thursday, October 13, 2011. She was born in Vandalia on October 19, 1922 the daughter of Frank & Dorothy (Hill) Woolery. She was a woman who touched many with her humor and outgoing personality and will be missed immensely.
She is survived by her children, who will miss her terribly, Diana D. Frydman of Kettering, John Erisman of Houston, Texas, Jim Erisman and his wife Sharon of Houston, Texas, and Nancy Vanover and husband Gary of Tipp City, her grandchildren Vernon "Bud" Smedley, Susan Smedley Lelonek, Brian Erisman, Stacie Erisman Lohr, Laurel Erisman, Andy Vanover, and Mollie Vanover, her great grandchildren, Beau Smedley, and Joey Smedley, Austin and Dylan Lohr, and Madison Lelonek.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband of 63 years Arthur Erisman, brothers Frank Jr. and Robert Woolery, sister Virgina "Ginger" Miller.
A gathering of family and friends will be held on Saturday, October 15, 2011 from 10:00 - 11:00 am in the BLESSING FUNERAL HOME, 11900 N. Dixie Dr. Tipp City. Funeral services will be held on Saturday at 11:00 am in the funeral home with Rev. Ron Hajarian officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Hills Memorial Gardens, Tipp City.
