Franklin Henry Miller, age 73 of Tipp City, passed away Tuesday, August 18, 2026, at Miami Valley Hospital, Dayton. He was born in England on August 4, 1953, the son of Henry “Hank” & Patricia “Pat” (Roberts) Miller. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force and served from 1972-1976. He worked for Stillwater Technologies in Troy as a welder for many years. He could make you laugh anytime you needed it. He was a genuine, fun and goofy guy that loved with his whole heart and never asked for anything in return. He loved to work in his garage on his bike and Corvette. He loved spending time with his family, and felt his grandchildren were one of his greatest blessings in life.

He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law Neil and Daisy Miller; seven grandchildren; one great grandchild and his Furbaby Oscar who never left his side.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife Lydia Starr Miller and his sister Teresa Miller.

A gathering of family and friends will be held on Wednesday, August 26, 2026, from 11:00 am – 1:00 pm at the ZERKLE FUNERAL HOME, 11900 N. Dixie Dr, Tipp City. A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday at 1:00 pm at the funeral home with Pastor Steve Granata officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Hills Memorial Gardens, Tipp City.
