Friedrich Erwin Augustin, age 88 of Huber Heights, passed away Tuesday, June 5, 2018 at Hospice of Dayton. He was born in Nurnberg, Germany on October 30, 1929 the son of Kurt & Wilhelmina (Bickel) Augustin.

He is survived by his children Janet (James) Ross, Ruby Augustin, and Rudy Augustin, and his granddaughter Janet Augustin.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife of 59 years Hildegard T. Augustin in 2014.

A gathering of family and friends will be held on Monday, June 11, 2018 from 11:00 am – 1:00 pm at the BLESSING-ZERKLE FUNERAL HOME, 11900 N. Dixie Dr., Tipp City. A funeral service will be held on Monday at 1:00 pm at the funeral home with Patty Peck officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Hills Memorial Gardens, Tipp City.
