Geneva N. Moody, age 94 of Vandalia, passed away Wednesday, April 13, 2016 at Good Samaritan Hospital, Dayton. She was born in Clay City, Kentucky on July 16, 1921 the daughter of Carl Washington & Ethyl Mae (Scott) Piersall. She was a member of the Christian Life Center since 1972 where she was a greeter for several years and served in the Angel Tree Ministry. She was an honorary member of the Trotwood Traveler''s RV Club.

She is survived by her daughters Vicky Moody of Dayton and Cheryl Moody of Vandalia, a son Ronald Moody of Albuquerque, New Mexico and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband of 59 years Corben Moody in 2004, brothers Cecil and Shirley Piersall, and sisters Norma Golde, Mattie Wallace, and Loraine Wilmouth.

A gathering of family and friends will be held on Monday, April 18, 2016 from 11:00 am - 1:00 pm at the BLESSING-ZERKLE FUNERAL HOME, 11900 N. Dixie Dr., Tipp City. A funeral service will be held on Monday at 1:00 pm in the funeral home with Pastor Libby Martin officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Hills Memorial Gardens, Tipp City.
