George Herbert Fausey, age 84 of Huber Heights passed away Wednesday, January 20, 2016 at Cypress Point Nursing Home, Englewood. He was born in Rochester, New York on September 29, 1931 the son of Ellis & Margaret (Fields) Fausey. He was a veteran of the U.S. Marines, a member of the Masonic Lodge and the Old Fashioned Rod & Gun Club. He retired from Standard Register in 1994.

He is survived by his children Margaret Fausey, Steve (Patricia) Fausey, and Tom (Billie Jo) Fausey, 3 grandchildren Justin (Erika) Fausey, Sean (Stephanie) Fausey, and Stephanie (Brent) Hardin, 6 great grandchildren Athena, Gabriel, Micah, Lucas, Evan, and Wyatt, a sister Patricia Porter, and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, wife of 50 years Margaret Jane Fausey in 2002, a brother Frank Fausey.

A gathering of family and friends will be held on Sunday, January 31, 2016 from 2:00 - 3:00 pm at the BLESSING-ZERKLE FUNERAL HOME, 11900 N. Dixie Dr. Tipp City. A memorial service will be held on Sunday at 3:00 pm in the funeral home. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.blessingfh.com.
