Gerald Wayne Eversole, Sr., age 70 of Dayton passed away Thursday, September 13, 2018 at Miami Valley Hospital, Dayton. He was born in Richmond, Kentucky on January 13, 1948 the son of Glendon & Jodella (Hackworth) Eversole.

He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Janet Eversole, children Gerald Wayne Eversole Jr. (fiancé Loree Galley) and April Lynn Carroll; grandchildren Michael Lee Bowen, Jaden Eversole and Sarah Elizabeth Carroll; brothers Bill (Darlene) Adams and Shane (Kathy) Adams; sister Cheryl Ann (Allen) Palmer; also surviving is Janet's family including her Aunt Ann Fassett and daughters Julie, Jill, Peggy and Betsy; her brother Gregory Huntington Edwards and her sister Deborah (Tim) Adams.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, September 21, 2018 at 1:00 pm at the BLESSING-ZERKLE FUNERAL HOME, 11900 N. Dixie Dr., Tipp City. Burial will follow in Forest Hills Memorial Gardens, Tipp City. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.blessingfh.com .
