Harold L. Clements, age 86 of West Carrollton passed away Sunday, February 6, 2011 in Kingston of Miamisburg. He was born in South Salem, Ohio on February 7, 1924 the son of Howard & Ruth (Crusie) Clements. He was a veteran of the US Army Air Force, from January 1943 through September 1945. Served in the European Theater of Operations, medals received EAME Theatre Ribbon with 10 Bronze Stars, Good Conduct Ribbon and Distinguished Unit Citation with 2 Oak Leaf Clusters. He retired from Steel Products Engineering Company in Springfield.
He is survived by his wife of 66 years Louise, children daughter Nancy Clements Beasley and son-in-law Larry J. Beasley, son Keith Clements and daughter-in-law Leslie Clements, grandchildren Michelle Clements of Columbus, Steven & Debbie Beasley and family of Dayton, Jeannene Beasley of Dayton, sister-in-law Charlene E. Murphy of Fairborn, and nieces and nephews Becky & Bob Grove of Greenfield, Pamela & Richard Fontaine and son of Dayton, Charlene & Rolin Smith and family of Florida, Debra & Jay Vaughn of Colorado, Dianne Louise Marshall of California, David & Rhonda Marshall and family of Kentucky, Bobbie Sue & Scott Hurt and family of Greenfield, and James Arthur Chandler and family of North Carolina.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and a son Howard Marshall Clements.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, February 9, 2011 at 11:00 am in the BLESSING FUNERAL HOME, 11900 N. Dixie Dr. Tipp City, with Pastor Stan Gockel officiating. Burial will be in Forest Hills Memorial Gardens, Tipp City. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in Harold''s memory to Hospice of Dayton, 324 Wilmington Ave. Dayton, Ohio 45420.
