Howard Fudge Oren Jr., age 66 of Vandalia, passed away Wednesday, January 21, 2026, in his residence. He was born in Dayton on September 3, 1959, the son of Howard F Sr. & Betty Sue (Simmons) Oren. He retired from Ohio State University where he worked at the OSU Medical Center as the Building Coordinator.

He is survived by his mother, Betty Oren; brother William (Kim) Oren; niece Sarah (Robert) Minor; nephew Christopher (Taylor) Oren; great nieces Brooklyn Jalyn and Harley Minor and Adaline Oren; several cousins and friends and his "Best Friend" his dog Oliver.

He was preceded in death by his father Howard Oren Sr. and several aunts and Uncles.

A gathering of family and friends will be held on Friday, January 30, 2026, from 12:00 pm – 1:00 pm a the ZERKLE FUNERAL HOME, 11900 N. Dixie Dr., Tipp City. A funeral service will be held on Friday at 1:00 pm at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Forest Hills Memorial Gardens, Tipp City.
