Irma Jean Boyd, 90, of Northridge, was promoted to heaven on Tuesday January 27th, 2026. She was born on February 14, 1935, in Greenville Tennessee, the daughter of John & Pearl (Owens) Seay. She leaves behind an amazing legacy. Irma was a longstanding member of Northridge Assembly of God (Light of Hope) church. Known to many as "Nanny", she could be sassy and spunky and just a joy to spend time with. She will be greatly missed and lovingly remembered.

Irma was the beloved matriarch of an extremely large family. She is survived by her son and devoted care giver, Ricky (Cheryl) Boyd, her grandchildren Angela, Ricky, Heather (Norman), Marcie (Daniel), Mindy, Holly (Chancy), Tim (Belle), Tenneil, and Kyle. She also leaves behind a host of great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren, son-in-law Glenn Jones, previously married to Karen Jones, and C.J Boyd, previously married to Floyd Allen Boyd, and many nieces and nephews all who which loved her dearly.

She was proceeded in death and reunited in heaven with her husband of 50 years, Floyd H Boyd, her beloved daughters Cathie Cummings and Karen Jones and her cherished son Floyd Allen Boyd.

A gathering of family and friends will be held on Thursday, February 5, 2026, from 11:00 am – 1:00 pm at the ZERKLE FUNERAL HOME, 11900 N. Dixie Dr., Tipp City. A funeral service will be held on Thursday at 1:00 pm at the funeral home with Pastor David Davis officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Hills Memorial Gardens, Tipp City.
