Irma Margaret Rudat, age 93 of Huber Heights, passed away Tuesday, April 17, 2018 at Hospice of Dayton. She was born in Grossostheim, Germany on October 24, 1924 the daughter of Adam & Anna Hock.

She is survived by her children Burkhard Rudat and Marilou Gomez; granddaughters Shanel Fultz (Andrew Hamilton) and Renea Jagel; great grandchildren Alana Jagel and Isaiah Smith; brothers Josef Hock and Karl Hock and a sister Maria Ott.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, of 58 years, Erwin W. Rudat in 2005. She was a loving mother, grandmother/Oma, great grandmother/Omi, sister and friend and will be missed to all who knew her. Irma and her husband, Erwin, were well-known throughout the Dayton German community, member of the Dayton German Liederkranz Club, and enjoyed attending dances and events. She worked at the local Poelking Bowling Lanes for many years in the daycare. She loved to cook, bake, and entertain for her family and friends.

A gathering of family and friends will be held on Friday, April 20, 2018 from 11:00 am – 1:00 pm at the BLESSING-ZERKLE FUNERAL HOME, 11900 N. Dixie Dr., Tipp City. A funeral service will be held on Friday at 1:00 pm at the funeral home with Pastor Bobbie Predmore officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Hills Memorial Gardens, Tipp City.
