Jack Phillip Marvin, age 74 of Tipp City, passed away Tuesday, February 19, 2013 in Cypress Point Nursing Home, Englewood surrounded by his family. He was born in Columbus, Ohio on November 3, 1938 the son of Ralph W. & Dorothy C. (Metzger) Marvin. Jack was an avid Ohio State Buckeye fan and he loved to fish and be with his family.

He is survived by his sons Phillip "Merv" Marvin, Daniel (Kimberly) Marvin, and Jack Marvin Jr., 7 grandchildren Danyse Marvin, Kyle (Brooke) Little, Zachary (Megan) Marvin, Krystin (Kirk) Wolf, Channing Marvin, Mikal Adams, and Gage Adams, 2 great grandchildren Aubrey Evans and Jaden Ross, a brother Dave (Sue) Marvin, a sister Janet (Lou) Lawrence, and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and his daughter-in-law Lauren Marvin.

A gathering of family and friends will be held on Friday, February 22, 2013 from 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm in the BLESSING FUNERAL HOME, 11900 N. Dixie Dr. Tipp City. A Funeral Service will be held on Friday at 7:00 pm in the funeral home with Pastor Barbara Cooper officiating. Burial will be in Mifflin Cemetery, Gahanna, Ohio.
