Jackie L. Gibson, age 59 of Dayton, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family on Wednesday, December 11, 2024. She was born in Dayton on May 6, 1965, the daughter of Bernard F. & Elizabeth (Centers) Nickell. She was a member of the Stillwater Global Methodist Church and was active with the Truth Seekers Group and the Sisters in Christ. She worked at Scitex and was the co-owner of CPADayton with her husband Kelly. She enjoyed researching Genealogy, especially her family's history in Eastern Kentucky.

She is survived by her husband of 40 years, Kelly Gibson; children Brittany (Ahron) Wiles and Bruce (Amma) Gibson; grandchildren Elaina Barrett, Madelyn Barrett and Alexandra Wiles; sister Karan Hatcher; niece Jennifer (Pepe) Aspra and family; cousins Marva (Doug) Rose and Scott Taulbee and "Quillie" her beloved Poodle.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and her sister Anita Leis. The family wants to give a special thank you to the Sisters in Christ, the Truth Seekers Group and her sister Karan Hatcher for their round the clock care during this difficult time.

A gathering of family and friends will be held on Wednesday, December 18, 2024 from 12:30 pm – 2:30 pm at the Stillwater Global Methodist Church, 6911 Frederick Pike, Dayton, Ohio 45414. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday at 2:30 pm at the church with Pastor Rob Uhlmer officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Hills Memorial Gardens, Tipp City. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in Jackie's memory to the Stillwater Global Methodist Church, 6911 Frederick Pike, Dayton, Ohio 45414. Services have been entrusted to the Zerkle Funeral Home, Tipp City. Condolences may be sent to the family through this online guestbook.
