James B. Turner Jr., age 73 of Germantown, passed away Saturday, December 27, 2014 in Liberty of Washington Twp. Nursing Home. He was born in Jackson, Kentucky on September 28, 1941 the son of James B. Sr. and Ada B. (Turner) Turner. He worked for the City of Dayton in Street Maintenance for many years.

He is survived by his son James B. Turner III, 3 daughters Kim Pickle, Michelle (Steve Curtis) Roy, and Irene Burns, 9 grandchildren Hollie Burns, Nathaniel Pickle, Crystal (David) Townsend, Kelli (Jordan) Tangeman, Heidie Burns, Jennifer Ross, James Anthony Turner, Alicia Flohre and Jacob Andrew Turner, 7 great grandchildren Jimmy, Alyssa, Austin, Aidan, Hailey, Lilli and Lilliana, a sister Della (Tom) Henry, and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a son-in-law Allen Pickle, and 2 sisters Irene Chomicz and Emma Horner.

A gathering of family and friends will be held on Tuesday, December 30, 2014 from 5:00 - 8:00 pm in the BLESSING FUNERAL HOME, 11900 N. Dixie Dr. Tipp City. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, December 31, 2014 at 1:00 pm in the funeral home with Pastor Russell Hayes officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Hills Memorial Gardens, Tipp City.
