Janet McCabe, age 75 of Florida and formerly of Dayton, passed away Friday, September 12, 2025, in Florida. She was born on March 2, 1950, the daughter of Ray & Jeane Sivers. She was a member of the Fairview Methodist Church in Dayton and then retired to Titusville, Florida.

She is survived by her husband Danny McCabe; stepchildren Erin Watkins and Danny Joseph McCabe; brothers Mark (Norma) Sivers, Neil Sivers and James (Amy) Sivers; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents and sister-in-law Ruth Ann Sivers.

A gathering of family and friends will be held on Friday, November 7, 2025, from 1:00 pm – 2:00 pm at the Zerkle Funeral Home, 11900 N. Dixie Dr., Tipp City. A graveside service will be held on Friday, November 7, 2025, at 2:00 pm at Forest Hills Memorial Gardens, 11890 N. Dixie Dr., Tipp City.
