Jeanette Woodard, age 84 of Dayton, passed away Tuesday, April 1, 2025, at Miami Valley Hospital, Dayton. She was born in Science Hill, Kentucky on July 6, 1940, the daughter of Boyd Dean & Zena (Farmer) Taylor. She was a graduate of Patterson Co-Op High School. She was an avid bowler for many years and loved to do arts & crafts, sewing, gardening, and travel. She was a very active charter member of the Woodland Baptist Church in Dayton. She served in many roles at the church including secretary and taught Sunday school. Her favorite hobby was spending time with her family especially the grandchildren and great grandchildren.

She is survived by her husband of 64 years, Paul E. Woodard; children Vicki (Bill) Ofsa, Brenda Eveslage, Paul (Kristi) Woodard and Paula (Matt) Elam; grandchildren Luke (Megan) Woodard, Karissa (Riley) Musick, Aaron Dykes, Rachael (Matt) McIntosh, Mattie Elam, Gerron Elam, Lana (Devon Jones) Dykes, Anna (Bryan) Anderson, Emily (Tyler Erickson) Ofsa and Gracen (David Schneider) Eveslage; great grandchildren May, Phoebe, Mabel Josephine, Jade, Bhodi, Matt, Jackson, Ella, Aumni, Sage, Wilder, Kyodi, Gemma and Ryder; and nephew Danny Taylor.

She was preceded in death by her parents; son-in-law Tom Eveslage; and brothers Jim Taylor and Connie Taylor. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, aunt and friend and will be missed by all who loved her.

A gathering of family and friends will be held on Saturday, April 5, 2025 from 10:00 am – 11:00 am at the ZERKLE FUNERAL HOME, 11900 N. Dixie Dr., Tipp City. A funeral service will be held on Saturday at 11:00 am at the funeral home with Pastor Del Stephens officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Hills Memorial Gardens, Tipp City.
