Jeneane Anne Summers, age 76 of Covington passed peacefully in her sleep on Tuesday, May 2, 2023 at Grandview Hospital. She was born in Troy, Ohio on January 23, 1947 the daughter of Richard Boyd & Patricia (Schneider) Lyle. She was a charter member of the Covington Eagles #3998 and was the cook there and has also been very active for many years.

She is survived by her husband of 57 years William Oscar Summers; son Thomas R. (Michelle) Summers; daughter Karen A. (Robert) Basye; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; brother Robert J. Lyle; sister Renee M. Hafer; and several nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents; brother William B. "Bill" Lyle; and sisters Marcia L. Blessing and Carla S. Wood.

A private service and burial will be held at the convenience of the family at Highland Cemetery, Covington. Services have been entrusted to the Zerkle Funeral Home, Tipp City.
