Joe C. Dishon, age 75 of Springfield passed away Friday, November 16, 2012 in Essex of Springfield. He was born in Blackstar, Kentucky on November 7, 1937 the son of Lewis Harvey & Flora (Freeman) Dishon. He retired from International Steel Wool.
He is survived by his four children, son Mike and daughter Carla Money both of Springfield, son Charles Kenneth of San Angelo, Tx., and son Roy of Vandalia. Also survived by his brothers Tom of Alabama, Kenneth of New Carlisle, Charles of Springfield, Lewis Harvey, Jr. of Alabama, and a sister Nancy Kenney of Tennessee.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother LD.
Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, November 20, 2012 at 1:00 pm at Forest Hills Memorial Gardens, 11890 N. Dixie Dr. Tipp City. Services have been entrusted to the Blessing Funeral Home, Tipp City. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.blessingfh.com.
