Johanna June Oda, age 87 of Tipp City, passed away Thursday, November 27, 2025, at Hospice of Dayton. She was born in Everett, Washington on March 21, 1938, the daughter of Norman & June (Hansen) Booher. Johanna and her husband Richard enjoyed Western Square Dancing together since 1969 and spent many days traveling and visiting the National Parks and cruising the back roads in their motorhome and motorcycle. Their greatest joy was spending time with their children and grandchildren.

She is survived by her husband of 69 years, Richard E. Oda; son Lester W. Oda; grandchildren Adam, Alex, Christopher and Hanna Oda; great grandchildren Issac, Jacob, Adalynn and Harper Oda; great-great grandson Caden; brother John W. Booher and several nieces, nephews, and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her son Donald E. Oda.

A gathering of family and friends will be held on Thursday, December 4, 2025, from 12:00 pm – 1:00 pm at the ZERKLE FUENRAL HOME, 11900 N. Dixie Dr., Tipp City. A funeral service will be held on Thursday at 1:00 pm at the funeral home. A burial will follow in Forest Hills Memorial Gardens, Tipp City.
