Obituary
John David "Beard" Ledford, age 69 of Riverside, passed away Saturday, January 10, 2015 in Hospice of Dayton. He was born in Marshall, North Carolina on June 16, 1945 the son of General Grant & Jean (Taylor) Ledford. He loved to fish.
He is survived by his wife Leslie (Reed) Ledford, children Johnney Knight and Sarah (Brian) Reed, grandchildren Dylan, Jeremiah, Elijah, and Vella, numerous other children, grandchildren and great grandchildren, sisters Wilma, Clara Mae, and Christine, several nieces and nephews and many, many friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and brothers Glenn and Bob Ledford.
A gathering of family and friends will be held on Friday, January 16, 2015 from 12:00 - 1:00 pm in the BLESSING FUNERAL HOME, 11900 N. Dixie Dr. Tipp City. A funeral service will be held at 1:00 pm in the funeral home. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.blessingfh.com.
