John F. Heller, Sr. age 89 of Tipp City passed away Saturday, February 11, 2012 in the VA Medical Center, Dayton. He was born in Versailles, Ohio on May 28, 1922 the son of John Henry and Elva (Rolf) Heller. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy where he served in W W II. He was a member of the American Legion and VFW Disabled American Veterans. He loved to fish and spend time with his family.
He is survived by his sons John F. Heller Jr., Jack Heller, and Jerry Heller, grandchildren Jonathon Adam Heller, Jessie Marie Gambrel and Jacob Heller, special friend Diane Ullery, and a special niece Jonnie Sue Long.
He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Juanita C. Heller, son James David Heller, brother Roy Heller, and a sister Naomi Heller.
Private family services were held at Forest Hills Memorial Gardens, Tipp City. Services were entrusted to the Blessing Funeral Home, Tipp City. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.blessingfh.com.
