Johnny T. Bennett, age 68 of Medway, passed away Sunday, November 4, 2012 in his residence. He was born in Lebanon, Ohio on October 4, 1944 the son of Ernest L. & Nancy (Price) Bennett. He was a dedicated member of the Ol'' Fashioned Rod and Gun for 30 years and the American Legion in New Carlisle. He loved being involved in FFA and 4H.
He is survived by his wife of 48 years Jewell E. (Jenkins) Bennett, a son Terry (Kim) Bennett, 2 daughters Roxanne (Scott) Gibson and Patricia (Mike) Smith, 7 grandkids Brett, Ashliey, T.J., Courtney, Brittany, Hunter, and Brooklyn, 2 great grandsons Ranger and Lee, that was his yep boys, a very special "son" Rick Stoner, a brother Dink of Lebanon, best friends of the family The Giles family from Virginia, and many nieces, nephews, and friends.
A gathering of family and friends will be held on Friday, November 9, 2012 from 10:00 am - 12:00 pm in the BLESING FUNERAL HOME, 11900 N. Dixie Dr. Tipp City. Funeral services will be held on Friday at 12:00 pm in the funeral home with Pastor Dennis Durig officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Hills Memorial Gardens, Tipp City.
