Joseph Thomas Henn, age 87 of Troy, passed away Saturday, September 25, 2021 at Miami Valley Hospital, Dayton. He was born in Troy, Ohio on March 29, 1934 the son of John A. & Dottie (Dye) Henn. He retired from Hobart Manufacturing, then worked as the Caretaker for the Troy Fish and Game for many years. He was also a member of the Amvets Post 88. He volunteered for many years at the Troy Junior Baseball Assn. and assisted building all the current ball fields.

He is survived by his children Vicky Henn of Cincinnati, Tom Henn of Troy, Karen (Tony Karns) Adkins of Troy, Pam (Fred Gilliam) Overholser of Piqua, Teri (Greg Howard) Emerick-Howard of Troy and Rick (Lorraine) Henn of Troy; grandchildren Kyle Robinson, Daniel Robinson, Ethan Henn, Jacob Henn, Sarah Burns, Matt Burns, Chad Hile, Emily Hile, Britany Collett, Zach Overholser, Malorie Stumpf, Kris Williams, Jantzen Emerick, Paige Ahrens, Andieleigh Emerick, Jasmine Thacker, Drew Henn and Taylor Henn; 26 great grandchildren; and a sister Virginia "Toots" (Warren) Webb.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife of 62 years Sharleen M. Henn in 2014; son-in-laws Dave Robinson and Randy Adkins; and a brother John Henn.

A Graveside Service will be held on Thursday, September 30, 2021 at 11:00 am at the Forest Hills Memorial Gardens, 11890 N. Dixie Dr., Tipp City. Services have been entrusted to the Zerkle Funeral Home, Tipp City. Condolences may sent to the family through this online guestbook.
