Joyce Faye Frederick, age 74 of Vandalia, passed away Sunday, January 4, 2015 in Spring Hills Singing Woods, Dayton. She was born in Nashville, Tennessee on March 21, 1940 the daughter of Grace (Brakeall) Black. She worked at the Ponderosa Headquarters in Vandalia for 12 years and loved gardening and country music. She was a very caring and loving person and will be missed by many.

She is survived by her husband of 55 years Gerald Frederick, daughters Cynthia Worley and Karen McCain, grandchildren Brett Worley, Crystina Worley, Jessica McCain, Amanda McCain, and Kelly McCain, a great grandson Xavier Worley, and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and 2 sisters Patricia Brock and Barbara Black.

A gathering of family and friends will be held on Thursday, January 8, 2015 from 4:00 pm - 7:00 pm in the BLESSING FUNERAL HOME, 11900 N. Dixie Dr. Tipp City. A funeral service will be held on Friday, January 9, 2015 at 10:30 am in the funeral home. Burial will follow in Forest Hills Memorial Gardens, Tipp City.
