Julia "Judy" Land Lesley, age 75 of Mississippi and formerly of New Carlisle passed away Monday, February 25, 2013 in Southhaven, Mississippi. She was born in Nicholasville, Kentucky on July 27, 1937 the daughter of James Leroy & Olla Della (Montgomery) Bowles.

She is survived by her children Richard Allen (Tammy) Lesley, Carol Jane (Rick) Reese, Lisa Ann (Kevin) McGillivray, Phillip Lee (Dixie) Lesley, and Beverly J. "Sam" McWhorter, 5 step children Herbert "Herbie" Eshelman, Phyllis Bertels, Patricia Holmes, Melvin "Lanny" Lesley, and Sue Duncan, 40 grandchildren and step grandchildren, 67 great grandchildren and step great grandchildren, 13 step great great grandchildren, and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Phillip Melvin Lesley in 1990, 7 brothers Eslie, Herman, James, Russell, Henry, Rufus "Buster", Oscar, and a sister Bessie Lane.

A gathering of family and friends will be held on Saturday, March 2, 2013 from 10:00 am - 11:00 am in the BLESSING FUNERAL HOME, 11900 N. Dixie Dr. Tipp City. Funeral services will be held on Saturday at 11:00 am in the funeral home with Pastor James Hicks officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Hills Memorial Gardens, Tipp City.
