Justine King, age 83 of Tipp City, passed away Sunday, September 7, 2025. She was born in Hazard, Kentucky on June 22, 1942, the daughter of Edmond & Merbia Singleton. She worked at Nabisco in Dayton for over 10 years and enjoyed playing Bingo.

She is survived by her daughter Marilyn Youngerman; son Jack King; grandchildren Scotty (Farrah) Youngerman, Michael (Amy) Youngerman, Jeffrey Hill, Tessa King, Bridget King, Alisha (Jhonny) Slorp and Kayla King; great grandchildren Jeremy, Cheyanne, Amayah, Chloe, Jon-Jon, Gabe, Halle, Aria and Audrey; 7 great-great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, Jack D. King in 2021; sons Earnest King and Jeff King; son-in-law Scott Youngerman; granddaughter Heather Youngerman; brothers Donnie Singleton and Doug Singleton and a sister Lola Tipton. A special thank you to her cousins Susie, Bud, Gavin and Skyy who was her constant care, support and comfort during this difficult time.

A gathering of family and friends will be held on Tuesday, September 16, 2025, from 11:00 am – 1:00 pm at the ZERKLE FUNERAL HOME, 11900 N. Dixie Dr., Tipp City. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday at 1:00 pm at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Forest Hills Memorial Gardens, Tipp City.
