Karen Sue Engle, age 74 of Troy, passed away Sunday, December 21, 2025, at Hospice of Miami County, Troy. She was born on January 26, 1951, in Bellefontaine, Ohio, the daughter of Robert R. & Alma (Dodds) Goings. She loved to go fishing, work in her garden and she loved all animals.

She is survived by her children Glen Phillip (Monique) Quillen, Amy Sue (Denny) Dietz, Brad Quillen and Jessica Walker; grandchildren Dustin Dietz, Macie Sue Dietz, Holden Dietz, Hayden Engle, Gavin Walker, Cole Quillen, Baustin Quillen, Beux Quillen, Bella Quillen, Blaze Quillen, Bianca Quillen, Brielle Quillen and Aubrie Fournier; 5 great grandchildren; brothers Robert Goings, Larry Goings and Gary Goings; sisters Sherry Hubbell and Kathy Reed; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

A gathering of family and friends will be held on Wednesday, December 31, 2025, from 12:00 – 2:00 pm at the ZERKLE FUNERAL HOME, 11900 N. Dixie Dr., Tipp City. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday at 2:00 pm at the funeral home. A burial will be held at the convenience of the family. Condolences may be sent to the family through this online guestbook.
