Larry D. Botkin, age 67 of Bidwell, Ohio passed away Thursday, July 29, 2010 in his residence. He was born in Troy, Ohio on January 15, 1943 the son of Paul & Dorothy M. (Zeller) Botkin. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and retired in 1994 from General Motors after 27 years. He was a member of the NRA and enjoyed hunting and fishing and loved to travel on his motorcycle.
He is survived by his wife Anna M. (Rafferty) Botkin, sons Larry J. Botkin of Dayton, Ohio, Wade (Yolie) Botkin of Miami, Fl., daughters Nic Myer of Mason, Ohio, Opal B. (Roger) Rigsby of Troy, Ohio, Betty J. Slifer of Dayton, Ohio, Wanda M. Harmon of Troy, Ohio, Ann''s step sons Clayton M. Collins of Columbus, Ohio and Matthew Collins of Ashtabula, Ohio, numerous grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren, brother Paul E. (Denise) Botkin Jr. of Curran, Michigan, sister Marsha (Steve) Elliott of Covington, Ohio and several nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be held on Monday, August 2, 2010 at 11:00 am at the Forest Hills Memorial Gardens, 11890 N. Dixie Dr. Tipp City with Steve Elliott officiating. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in Larry''s memory to your favorite charity. Services have been entrusted to the BLESSING FUNERAL HOME, 11900 N. Dixie Dr. Tipp City, Ohio.
