Larry E. Cress, age 72 of West Milton, passed away Wednesday, February 18, 2015 in his residence. He was born in San Luis Obispo, California on January 20, 1943 the son of Ralph Clinton & Ada Mae (Augustine) Cress. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and Air Force. He was a member of the Ginghamsburg United Methodist Church where he was very active with the Habitat for Humanity and Missions projects. He enjoyed bowling, golfing, boating, fixing cars and collecting many items of interest.

He is survived by his children Tina (Chris) Hutchinson and Anthony Cress, granddaughters Heather and Erica, great grandchildren Renaldi and Lex, and brothers Jeff and Gary.

He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers Dennis and Randy and sisters Jennifer and Janet.

A gathering of family and friends will be held on Friday, February 27, 2015 from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm at the BLESSING-ZERKLE FUNERAL HOME, 11900 N. Dixie Dr., Tipp City. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, February 28, 2015 at 11:00 am at the funeral home with Virgil Gallagher officiating. The family will also receive friends on Saturday from 10:00 am - 11:00 am at the funeral home. Burial will be at the convenience of the family in Bethel Cemetery, Phillipsburg.
