Linda Jean Adams, age 77, of West Milton, passed away Friday, January 9, 2026, at Hospice of Miami Co. She was born in Trent, Kentucky on June 28, 1948, the daughter of Ova & Viola (Bush) Wilson. She worked at Dolly Toy in Tipp City and Stanley Garage Door in Covington for many years. Grandma was everything to us kids. She was warm and hilarious, she knew just the thing to say to make you roll your eyes and laugh. She gave the best hugs you'll ever receive. Hugs that you melted in.  Grandma took the very best care of us when she came to babysit, or we spent the night. She made crispy pancakes and the very best popcorn. It made our day when we'd walk out from youth group or school to see grandma outside waiting for us. We will forever miss her hugs, her contagious laugh, and wonderful cooking. We are content knowing that she's with Jesus talking about everything under the sun while watering gardens full of half runner beans, tomatoes and all the flowers. We can't wait to hug her again in heaven one day.

She is survived by her children Susan Slone, Sandy (Bill) Campbell and Matt Adams; grandchildren Dustin (Brittney) Greenwald, Grace (Chasen) Poole, Lilly Slone, JT Slone, Clay Slone, Jordan (Jayden) McIntosh, Zoe Mullen and Abygail Mullen; great grandchildren Connor, Lydia, Bennett, Taron, Baylor, Axl and Roman; sister Debra (Stephen) Richardson; brother-in-law Kenneth Oppy; special great niece Miranda for her care and compassion over the past few years; and several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brother James (Deloris) Wilson; and sisters Lenice Oppy and Ruth (Dr. Paul) Coniglo. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt and friend and will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

A gathering of family and friends will be held on Friday, January 16, 2026, from 11:00 am – 1:00 pm at the ZERKLE FUNERAL HOME, 11900 N. Dixie Dr., Tipp City. A funeral service will be held on Friday at 1:00 pm at the funeral home with Stephen Richardson officiating. Burial will follow in Wheelock Cemetery, West Milton.
