Luther Elwood Lynch, age 85 of Dayton, passed away Saturday, June 8, 2013 in Stonespring of Vandalia. He was born in Speedwell, Tennessee on September 23, 1927 the son of William Benjamin and Lucy (Moyers) Lynch. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army where he served in WWII. He was a member of the VFW and enjoyed woodworking, gardening and fishing. He retired in 1992 from Harris Graphics after 38 years where he never missed a day of work.
He is survived by his wife of 66 years Joy Lee (Norman) Lynch, 2 sons Jeff (Tabitha) Lynch and Rodney (Karen) Lynch, 4 grandchildren Alexandria, Emma, Andy, and Danielle, a sister Opal Lovely and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and 5 brothers and a sister Lonnie, Gene, Chester, Ruby, Roy, and Claude.

A gathering of family and friends will be held on Wednesday, June 12, 2013 from 5:00 pm - 8:00 pm in the Blessing Funeral Home, 11900 North Dixie Dr. Tipp City. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, June 13, 2013 at 10:30 am in the funeral home with Pastor Lonnie Marshall officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Hills Memorial Gardens, Tipp City.
