Marian M. (Jones) (Van Kirk) LaVana, age 94 of Tipp City and formerly of Levittown, Pa. passed away Tuesday, February 3, 2015 in her residence. She was born in Williamsport, Pa., on January 11, 1921 the daughter of Howard J. & Mary Elizabeth (Anderson) Jones.

She is survived by her son Al (Carole) Van Kirk of Pinson, Tn., daughter Nancy Andrusko of Tipp City, Oh., step sons Stephen (Dottie) LaVana, and Dan LaVana, stepdaughters Kathleen (Ted) Greider, Jeanne (Bobbie) LaVana, and Michaele Martin, son-in-law Richard A. Johnston, sister Eloise Turek, brothers Paul V. Jones, Donald A. (Jeanne) Jones, and Robert (May Jones, 8 grandchildren, 9 step grandchildren, many great grandchildren, step grandchildren and great great grandchildren and her many friends at Bristol Township Senior Center in Levittown, Pa.

She was preceded in death by her parents, 1st husband Francis S. Van Kirk, 2nd husband Burton J. LaVana, a son William Van Kirk, and a daughter Francis M. Johnston.

A burial will be held at the convenience of the family in Arlington National Cemetery, Washington D.C.. Services have been entrusted to the Blessing-Zerkle Funeral Home, 11900 N. Dixie Dr. Tipp City. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.blessingfh.com.
