Marjorie E. Odle, age 87 of Riverside passed away Sunday, April 10, 2016 in her residence. She was born in Piqua, Ohio on July 17, 1928 the daughter of William F. & Ruby Francis (Gibson) Sherman. She was a nurse for many years at Grandview Hospital, Springcreek Nursing Home and as a private nurse. She was a member of the Aldersgate United Methodist Church in Huber Heights where she was active in the Mary Martha Circle.

She is survived by her brother Les Blackburn, sisters Judy (Bob) Schmidt and Barbara Tackett, nieces and nephews Ruth (Ronnie) Tackett, Val Smith, Rob Schmidt, Rhonda Schmidt, Beck (Doug) Bickett, Shari (Marty) Pickering, Michael (Jill) Blackburn and Chuck (Kim) Tackett, and several great nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband Floyd Odle in 2002.

A gathering of family and friends will be held on Friday, April 15, 2016 from 11:00 am - 12:00 pm at the BLESSING-ZERKLE FUNERAL HOME, 11900 N. Dixie Dr. Tipp City. A funeral service will be held on Friday at 12:00 pm in the funeral home with Pastor Randy Clark officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Hills Memorial Gardens, Tipp City.
